In the beginning, there was the Pensione Pironi

--

It was in the early 1920s and people still came to the sea by horse and cart.

Back then, all you needed was a room with a bed, a good meal and the sea in front of you.

Then the Pironi became big and started calling itself a hotel, but the thread of memory that links it to its beginnings has never been broken, and today you can still hear loud and clear the spirit of those pioneers of tourism in Romagna.

Popular tourism, tourism for all, made up of authentic hospitality and cuisine based on ancient recipes.

And Romagna’s infectious good humour, a panacea for all your problems.

And what’s the point of being on holiday if you can’t forget your problems!

Some of the rooms are small, and often the bathrooms too, but there’s everything in them, including the history of a hundred years of hospitality in Romagna.

For the last five years, the Pironi has been giving itself a facelift, a few rooms a year, the corridors, the hall and the garden.

It will take a few years, but we will never stand still.
